It's hard to keep photos preserved and protected when they're all in different places. Your memories are irreplaceable and having a space to protect them is essential. ⁣ ⁣ 1. Have two designated devices or places where you can store all of your original full-size images. Two places ensures safety. With Mylio, we call this a Vault. An external drive is great for this, you can also use a computer or device with lots of free space. ⁣ ⁣ 2. Create a workflow and system that doesn't seem laborious. It becomes so much harder to keep your photos backed up when you are unmotivated to do so. ⁣ ⁣ 3. Here are a few ways you can do it:⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ☀️ To import from your phone, download Mylio to your mobile device. During set up, you can import all your photos from your camera roll and Mylio will continue to import any new photos you take on that device! ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ☀️ To import from your computer, download Mylio to your computer. Import photos via Copy or Source Folders. If you have an existing folder structure that organizes your photos, import with Source Folders and Mylio will keep that structure. Your folder organization and any changes you make will be reflected in the app.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ☀️ You can also import photos from your camera or an SD card. This weeks Tuesday Tip is all about editing your photos in Mylio and the difference between color and light.⁣ ⁣ To edit light, use the sliders for: exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, and blacks. ⁣ ⁣ To edit color, use the sliders for: saturation, temp k, and tint. ⁣ ⁣ When you only want to change specific parts of your photo, use the brush tool! Accidents happen, especially if you don't know where to click. Guest Mode makes sure your library stays just the way you like it.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ - Batch edit your photos to save time. You can face tag, edit dates, enhance photos, and edit keywords in batches.
